Tom's Music

My musical career began in my mid-teens when I acquired my first guitar, a $15 acoustic from Sears Roebuck & Co. Who could have guessed that the purchase of that guitar would begin a lifelong love affair with performing, composing and recording music. In many ways, my musical journey has come full circle as I find myself ready to step out into the performing arena once again after a fifteen year hiatus. After over two decades of playing in nightclubs, bars and restaurants, and on a few major stages from the East Coast to the West Coast, I chose to reconsider where I was heading musically and decided to stop performing. The time away from the stage would lead me to the production side of the music business and in 1997, I opened a recording studio on Cape Cod. That soon led to live sound mixing for events and concerts as well as live recording opportunities out of the studio. During the past couple of years, I have once again picked up my guitar and have been writing new material. With a bunch of new songs revisiting my rock and roll, blues and R&B roots, a CD is finally in the making. I'm currently working on recording those songs and putting together opportunities for live performances. I hope to have the CD here for you to listen to early next year. I am also currently working on a music video at Cape Cod Community Media Center for a song I just wrote. It's a little protest song called "Tired" and it will be available to view on YouTube and other websites after the first of the year, hope you'll check it out!

As a songwriter, I have had a number of my songs covered by other artists. Below you can check out some of those songs that I've either written or co-written with other songwriters over the years.
